Bipasha Hayat explores collective memory, identity, and spiritual freedom through a distinctive monochromatic visual language. Inspired by the ancient Roman ruins of Libya, she creates layered works using stone, textiles, cardboard, and welded wire. Her practice reflects human vulnerability, resilience, and our shared origins beyond cultural boundaries. She received an Honorable Mention Award at the 17th Asian Art Biennale Bangladesh in 2016 for Memoir. In 2023, she received a fellowship from the Saltonstall Foundation for the Arts and is an alumna of the NYFA Immigrant Artist Program. Her works have been exhibited internationally in Dhaka, Rome, Seoul, and New York.
